|Long overdue Update
Today, I began on a story for Journalism class in high school: What the No Hat Policy is.Whoop-de-dingle-doo. I feel very
strongly on this subject-I think that the rule's stupid- but I discarded it, thinking that other students would pretty much crucify me for a stupid story premise. When the final bell tolled, I was out of ideas (the most recent one being The History of Socks).
So, I picked a last-ditch, last-resort, and above all temporary
idea: D&D. So I got home, relaxed, and told my parents what my homework was. When I got to my journalism paper, it came out like INEEDTOMAKEADEANDEPAPYRFORJOURNALISMBECAUSETHAELNTALMEHTEIAN
. Ben & mom went ballistic
. After a lengthy lecture involving much explanations, save-its, shutyermouth!s, and shutupdon'targue!s, Ben had to go to work, and I explained my case to Mom.
Then I did my homework. It was easy, and I lined up an interview for What the No Hat Policy Is.
Whoop-de-dingle-doo. Current Mood: What the/Ithebga/at!/Ahuuga!
|I'm Just So Friggin' Sorry!
Last night, I hit my younger brother in the back. Hard. So hard as to hurt my own hand. The only thing that is going through my mind right now is: What in the @*$#!? is wrong with me?
I hope that I can make up to Secundus, there. I really do.
I'm just so friggin' sorry! Current Mood: Extremely Sorry
My brother -in illuviel
's post, Secundus-and I are working on campaign settings for Dungeons and Dragons. He's working on a sewer campaign called "Scraping the Gong" by my request (I was working on it :P), and I am working on a post-apocalyptic setting called "After Earth".
Yes, that is post-apocalyptic D&D! It's fun! Very!
So far, I've used three Dragon mags for the thing. I'm using the optional races presented in the Exotic Heroes issue, as well as the Osteomancer prestige class and the Fetishes and Truenames article from that same issue. I'm going to use the Grippili from the Necromancy (?) issue and also the Urban Adventures issue-
the main campaign city is built on the 7,000-year-old ruins of New York City.
|My second day exploring, and already I feel somewhat wierd.
My message on the Warhammer 40K community has 4 replies. Already. Wow, I feel like a newbie. I've learned somewhat how to use the LJ and my puzzlement has decreased exponentially.
Well, off to find new communities. Current Mood: Cooled out.
